Is a good idea to cloak my affiliate links ?

Google will penalize me for doing this kind of stuff ?

    Thanks in advance ;)

Why cloaking? Just encode them and that's it.

You'd be better off sticking with kh7's suggestion and go with the re="nofollow" tags, really.

    sure-in.com/htmlcoder.htm

This script encodes any HTML (or plain text) in Java Script. The instuctions are in Russian, but I'll tell you what to do - left field is to put original code, then you press middle button and encoded result appears in the right field.

For reference - left button calls help (appears in both fields describing their functions in Russian) and right button clears everything from both fields. As I've already said - middle button is used to encode text, or HTML you've put in left field.

Are you sure that Google won't read them?

Google will see that the link is there but it won't follow it, so they wouldn't be considered as outbound links.

It's a good decision, but what is it based upon? Your IMHO?

It is as simple as that. Thats the way things work with the nofollow tag.
