This isn't a domain appraisal. What if I own googleplushq.com - google has just launched google plus, am I still allowed to post content on that domain?
If I did own this domain, I would have contacted a Google employee by now and asked them whether I can post content on the domain I hope that's the right thing to do. Otherwise, I don't suppose I could sell a domain like this. Just for fun, what would happen if I owned something like doggoogle.com - it's dogg and oogle after all! Can you make that case? Does anybody have experience in this type of situation?
I own a site googletraffic.co But I haven't placed any content in it as I'm not sure whether I'm allowed or not
Google is a trademarked term by them. They can dispute your site whenever they want and take it off you, it is a clear cut case, you might be able to make some money but at any point they can take it off you. I think that in practical terms though it is probably only going to come to that if your site becomes popular and starts to creep up the rankings, which I assume you are trying to do.
In the past, I have google name in my domain name, it is going ok for one year, after that I am not renewal for that domain
A question to that is why one would register a domain name bearing a unique and famous trademark like Google. Not unless it's to poke fun and not make money off of it somehow.
I had originally contacted one of the main developers of the service and asked him if I could use it, but no reply yet (guess he's really busy), and I've contacted Google now through this: http://www.google.com/support/contact/bin/request.py?contact_type=permissions_app
