I heard many people making blogs to make money. But what about all the other stuff that deals with cancer, lawyers, mortgage, forclosure, etc. Isn't that the big money maker?
Thousands of blogs on cancer, lawyers, etc etc etc Just do a search. Blogs on any subject...even the kinky side of life (spanking anyone? there is a blog or two on that subject). Even ran into a blog on TRS computers and how to revive them in today's modern world.
Well if you do chances are you either 1. get no visitors at all and make no money or 2. get banned by Google, etc and make no money as well. Better try making one very good site about credit cards!
Revenue one expect to get from a site is not to be the only criterion while choosing what it should be about. I think that one is supposed to feel like to do it and have a gift in that sphere.
Someone I know has about 1200 financial blogs and websites. These sites make him around $1500 a month. In total. It used to be around $2500, but probably 40% of the blogs and website is now banned from Google. I expect the rest to follow soon. So, I don't think so. Just build quality websites, that's a lot safer and will make you more money I think.
Where are you going to get all these information?? I do not think it is the best idea to copy and paste everything. I recommend to stick and do what you can do best rather than creating a blog for every high paying keyword
I had a blogger account with 5 blogs that targeted various niches. They did ok for a few months, but then they were all deleted out of my account. Not worth the time and energy, unless you use Wordpress or something that you have control over. .blogspot did have weight in search engines, but again, you will likely get banned.
I have a large medical site, not a blog but a regular site, covering many medical subjects. Lots of content, and it averages 20 cents or less per click. There is very little money in medical ads anymore, and this is with YPN, Adsense paid me even less per click. Maybe at one time medical ads paid high, but they sure don't anymore. I believe the market is just getting too flooded to pay high now, the same for credit cards, payday loans, etc which I also have sites on.
Because they want to patrol spam blogs, which mine were. It seems like they are interested in personal blogs, which are added to frequently, and updated. Not ones with decent url titles, can get some search engine traffic and then slap some AdSense or YPN ads on.
Despite what some will say, do this: Do not link your blogs to each other! And be careful of linking your sites to each other. If you have one site that is medical related, and another site or blog that is also medical related, you do not want to link those sites together. Okay to link your sites if each is different.
