What if I made to much backlinks in short time?

Maybe I added to many backlinks in short period of time. I think around 1000 in 15 days. Most of them by article marketing, and less forum posts and social bookmark. My site isn't moving in SERPs and I expected it will.

Do I stop link building or continue with less links a day?

Or something else?

 

If the website is brand new, straight from the registrar, then that is way too many in a short time.

In my experience, if I were in your shoes, just to be safe, I would build less links a day. I have tried to blast links straight from the start and sometimes I do get to the front page but only for KWs with very low competition. Also they tend to jump up and down in ranking constantly, ie Google dance.

 

As opposed to the common view on this, I think consistency is the real determining factor as opposed to a precise number. I would suggest to keep up the backlinking at your normal pace and start to slowly tapper off your efforts as opposed to an all out stoppage. Fresh domains take time, patience is key. Lessons will be learned.

 

It depends. If it is new site, it is dangerous. If it is an old site, that will probably has little affect to the SERP.

 

I heard getting back links in short period of time is questionable, Google don't like automated tool to use in optimizing because it would led to spamming.

if your site is new, too much backlinks is not so good.

Continue your work but don't over do it. you can regularly make links through different SEO sources. this work will surely give you good results in the coming time.

1. I would like to mention that 1000 in 15 days would not be a big number.
2. You should not stop building new back links under any conditions. Keeping back links to your site increasing in a stable mode would be the best practice for SERP purpose.

It's depend what type of link you build if you involved any black hat method it can harm you but if you build by organic way there is no problem
