What if I don't care about ads?

I want to drive traffic to my blog for long-term business reasons, not for the usual ad click revenue.
    Blog: http://lifewithdogs.blogspot.com

But it seems most advice for bloggers is based on getting those ad clicks. I don't intend to sacrifice content for ad money.

So the million dollar question...how do I bring them in cheap? :D

    TIA,

    Neil

I find it strange you don't want to use ads. Are you planning on offering an affiliate program as an alternative to ads?

As far as getting cheap traffic, I would suggest asking around for text link or banner advertising. Their are webmasters on this site that can sell you ad space on their site for a reasonable amount per month. That should build you some sustained traffic. You will have to get your site out their to get people's attention.

By the way, what do you have against ads?

That's a really strange question. I write all of the content. Why do you ask?

It's not that I hate ads. I just don't need to put them on my site. I'm guessing the revenue would be little enough that it's not worth distracting readers from the content...
