What if I change proxy every minute and I click on my advertising ? Anyone tried? Share your opinions.
Q: "What if..." A: You'll be clicking your ads every minutes with a different proxy. Q: "Anyone tried?" A: No, I personally haven't tried. My opinion: You're violating the Adsense Terms of Service & Usage Policy. In addition, you're costing Adwords advertisers money, which would piss me off. You're not only putting your adsense account at risk, but abusing the system, too. Not a good idea...
Im pretty sure proxies arent 100% protective. Besides, if youre sitting on 100% CTR (or anything high) Google will get suspicious and your account will get banned.
GG may be able to catch you based on following: very high clickthrough rate time pattern of the clickthroughs same IP of the clickthroughs combination of any of the above (like 100% clickthrough for specific IPs) I am sure GG has profond analysing system for such simple methods of abusing the AdSense (which is by far their greatest revenue source).
Google know which IPs are proxies, plus you would artificially boost your CTR which would set off alarms. "Wow, a lot of proxies are interested in this guy's ads. That must be him. BAN." Trust me, it's not worth it. I'd rather only rake in a few cents here and there than bust it entirely. Think about "The Goose & The Golden Egg."
Do not try it, Adsense will easily find out whether you are from a proxy or not, it is just alerting them to ban you. Haven't the number of Adsense banned threads given you the necessary warnings?
Thanks for the suggestions! So it's not wise to do that... and as someone said in this thread " Google know which IP are proxy " that's right...
It is not that they are really that smart, but they deal with tens of thousands of us, these help them built up a database of frauds and actions which allows them to effectively catch the culprits.
I bet a lot of people have tried it... I bet most if not all of them are now banned from Google Adsense
there are also things like cookies and other google tricks that help to know what machine the clicks are coming from
Web proxies don't proxify the ads. When you click on it in the proxy it will still be your IP clicking on the Ads.
