Google actually doing that and every URL Pagerank keeps on updating all the time... However, they only export it once in a while (Last was on 31 December 2008) We really needs to understand that: It might out-dated values
It does not make sense for them to keep on updating PR every day. Not only does it put a lot of pressure on their resources, but offer no value. Advertisers would not be anyway, basing their contract on day-today basis.. Regards, RightMan
I agree with IEMailer.com . Google does update at all time (in their database) once the googlebot cached new page or updating cache for existing page. But toolbar pr exports is normally every 3-4 month.
What sense does it make to see a PR change everyday? One day it maybe PR 5 and next day PR 0. PR update once a month is still okay but not everyday. SticKer
There is no use of updating PR everyday as you don't optimize your site each day and there is no considerable change.
PR changing may tell you that some of your site backlinks are moving example: some dp threads have PR3 this time but next time it may become PR0, it could because these threads have been moved off from the first page of forum. So PR might be still providing some information. It is not total useless.
Very good response. It is updated constantly in real terms, it is only the TOOLBAR ranking that is updated every 3 - 4 months.
But that's exactly what happens, one day you are 5, next day after the update... 3. It can be done cause one would expect it'd take weeks, months for your PR to change on most occasions,so you'd keep seeing the same PR, regardless.
