Google tested through a BETA version a CPA program that basically charged advertisers only when the visitors performed a certain action. If Google launches a big scale CPA ad program, wouldn't that mean that basically PPC would become obsolete for promoting Azoogle CPA offers? I mean, Azoogle offer managers would just open accounts with Google and pay them instead of having affiliates as intermediaries!!! Those operating offers in networks like azoogle would just promote their offers without Azoogle or any network - just through Google CPA! Meaning hundreds of affiliate marketers that use this method would have to find a way of promoting through websites!! WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS? DO YOU THINK GOOGLE WILL LAUNCH THIS PROGRAM SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
Google nixed the CPA program in favor of Performics, which they got when they acquired doubleclick. The end result is that they got an already successful affiliate network which has now been re-branded the Google Affiliate Network.
What I think is that there is no feasible way right now for Google to track/validate conversions on an infinite number of websites, so no, I say that it won't happen in the near future. oh, and NO NEED TO ASK QUESTIONS IN CAPS EITHER! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Well, we would test it too. Google is pretty good at working with publishers and advertisers. (the best imho)
Google bought a few months ago one of the biggest CPA companies: Performics and they change the name to Google Affiliate Network.... so yes, Google owns a huge CPA network
