Reward sites that have a low bounce rate? Reward sites that get bookmarked Reward sites that are linked to by large media outlets Reward sites that are owned by large banks Reward sites that are more than 10 years old Reward sites that have no affiliate links whatsoever Reward sites that are local to the user Reward sites that ......... The point is there is so much Google can do to increase ranking on their end that you have absolutely no power to control. So while you are worrying about creating those keyword rich inbound links, and perhaps you should be doing that, bookmarking all your articles, and maybe you should be doing that, and... You might also be creating linking strategies that are easy targets for Google to peg as "not natural". Strategies that could on any given day send you plummeting in the search rankings because you did something they didn't like. The reality is everything is guess work.... educated guesswork. Because ultimately Google controls search and will do whatever they want to do as long as it keeps stuffing their coffers with cash! Ultimately the only thing that will continue to make sense is that people/visitors will reward sites that offer them what they are looking for from their search experience - assuming they can find it. So SEO is a lot more than just plugging in what someone says you should do and chasing links.
Good points internetmarketingiq. I like this post much more than when you are giving short, somewhat rude comments on other threads. It is true that Google can drastically change rankings at any time. They likely wouldn't want to change things too drastically as people like reliable results. Making the wrong algorithm change could be a major setback for Google. They could still gradually introduce any of the things that you mentioned. That is why it is extremely important to have a website that satisfies customers as much as search engines. It is also important to vary your marketing strategies so that you are prepared when Google decides to devalue one of your strategies. If your strategies are varied enough, you will keep rankings across all search engines much easier.
Exactly. Google is NOT going to introduce a whole new paradigm overnight. What if it crashed and burned? Google could lose ALL their popularity in a heartbeat. However, don't expect them to NOT gradually tweak the algorithm; it's in a constant state of update and some things that worked this year might not work next year.
In my opinion nothing can happen overnight And if anything google can do for good cause of web masters will be a time to wait and watch But GOOGLe is purely a business model and they wont allow quick flyers for small websites as they earn heavily from GOOGLE adwords and definately in this PROFIT world google will do more to improve their profits as best as they can So rewarding the website for efforts will be very less then rewarding for Adsense and getting more profits from Adwords
Anything can happen, but any change will have its pluses and minuses No new Algorithem will be much better
Reward sites that have a low bounce rate? Not likely this will ever happen. This behavioral statistic is too easily spammed. They have the stats already to do this but do not because every spammer on the planet would be able to knock competitors out of the rankings by simply searching on a keyword they want to rank for (or their client wants to rank for), clicking on the competitor's link, and bouncing back to Google repeatedly. Reward sites that get bookmarked Social bookmarking from an SEO perspective is likely on the decline. It may continue to bring traffic way into the future but if it has not already been targeted by a Google anti-spam algo change, it will soon enough. Like every other 'unnatural' link building technique, it will eventually be the target of an algo change... Google wants sites to obtain links naturally. They have targeted unnatural link build techniques used by SEOs to plant links on other sites back to their own... ummm blog commenting, directory submissions, forum signature links, etc... these are ALL SEO and spammer methods of planting your own link on another site... And have been the target of numerous anti-spam changes to the Google algorithm over the last year or two. Same will happen to social bookmarking. It's days too are numbered. Reward sites that are linked to by large media outlets I think they are already doing this. I think the large media sites like CNN, Wallstreet Journal, NY Post, etc. have a very high degree of domain trust... Links from those types of sites are already valuable. Reward sites that are owned by large banks Again, large banks like Bank of America have a very high degree of domain trust. Any new domain created by Bank of America using the same registration information - company, address, email, phone #, etc. - are likely known by Google to be related to Bank of America and inherit a certain degree of instant trust. They are after all a registrar. Why do you think that is? So that they can relate sites through their registrations. They don't sell domains... Reward sites that are more than 10 years old They already reward domains based on age... assuming the site actually existed during that time. Having a parked domain for 10 years, is worthless. Having a domain w/ an actual site on it for 10 years is worth something. Reward sites that have no affiliate links whatsoever They already penalize affiliate URLs that add no value to the user experience when they find them. So while they may not currently reward URLs with no affiliate links, the do punish those landing pages w/ affiliate links that add no useful additional information. Reward sites that are local to the user They do this already by boosting local listings for some types of searches to the top of the SERPs... IMO EVERY link building strategy where an SEO or spammer can farm links (plant links themselves on other sites back to their own sites) will eventually be the target of anti-spam changes to Google's algorithm or the target of new Google Webmaster Guidelines that will result in penalties. The only types of inbound links to your site that will rarely ever be targeted are those that occur naturally... where other sites WANT to link to you because you have interesting content or because you are perceived as an authority on some topic, without you having to plant the link on their site yourself. And rightly so IMO.
Google already do all that above statement and for me to get the reward is a hardwork to do more over with 30% bounce rate I believe I still has so much works to complete google reward program
