Hello there, I actually sign up for a hosting account since I need faster speed in serving my guest, and also signing up for the new domain, the TLD one, not using dyndns.org service anymore.. So if someone has ever make a changes like this before, plz tell me what action did Google take, do they have to re-visit our site to validate us as eligible or not for their program ? If there's any changes I have to make, where is it ? I could'nt find one..
Hi. Was your site a subdomain at dyndns.org? As in yoursite.dyndns.org or dyndns.org/yoursite? If yes to either of those, the search engines will have to find you. The best approach is to keep the old site up for a month or so with a link to the new site so that customers and search engines can find your new site. Did I help? Or did I mis-understand what you asked? Colbyt
Yes, my site is a subdomain, mysite.dyndns.org, but thinking as a subdomain, I change to TLD and buy one for me, the .com ending, since TLD is more efficient and well remembered by ppl, just say bla bla bla.com and instantly ppl will remember it, it's a trend .. I cannot get the site running anymore with it's content, cause on the 1st week I run it, I drive myself crazy when a lot of ppl use to come to it since I include every section of life inside it, update everyday, on my own feet, I got 4000 visitor for 7 days, heh, ruin up my entire life.. money does'nt matter anymore .. As on the application with Google, noted that I have allready pass their test, I'm now the publisher, I submit the url mysite.dyndns.org, but the point is, I dont wanna use that URL anymore .. I wanna change to www.something.com, on behalf of that, do i need to resubmit my application to review the new site ? If I fail on my application before with the 1st site, then I have the option, just by changing the URL and submit the new one, new application, but now, I have passed, and need to change it, I could not figure it out, how to do that, should I email Google ??
Once you have been approved for adsense, you can put the code onto any site you own as long as it doesn't violate any of google's terms (i.e. you can't put the code on a pharmacy site). You do not need to tell google about other sites before placing the code. You could ad 20 new sites and you would use the same code.
I think by closing your old site you lose the age of the old site. I believe the age of a site is very important to search engines, especialy Google. The age of a site affcts your site's rankings!
