Do you not wish to add a feature where submitters have an opportunity to update their site thumbnails without having to log in to a forum and post their "queries"? :)

I mean for somebody who has paid for his site's inclusion in a descent directory this could be kind of inconvenience(!)

No, of course not. I hope you were joking even asking this question. How would a directory script revamp the directory industry? The directory industry is in the sad shape its in today because of the thousands of poorly run directories on the web...not because the industry is lacking a nice script.

The biggest problems with the directory industry (as I see it) are:
    • Duplicate content/structure.
    • Owners not maintaining there directories properly.
    • Poor editing/review standards (and sometimes no standards at all).
    • Scammers/spammers using directories as email harvesters.
    • Directories involved in black hat techniques.
    • People building hundreds of directories just sell them for a quick buck.

And no directory script is going to solve the above problems. Only the invention of a cure for "stupid" will fix these problems...and I don't see that anywhere in the near future.
