What if 20 million illegal aliens vacted America?

I live on the real planet where educated white folks don't want to do crap jobs making minimum wage. I'm wondering what planet YOU live on, brother.

 

I'm not saying that nothing should be done about the problem, just that deporting all of the illegals is an impossible job that is only being thrown around for political purposes.

What should be done is fining big business who hire illegals. What should be done is keeping more (good) jobs here in America and not have so many sent over seas.

What should be done is better border security.

But rounding up every illegal alien and shipping them back to Mexico (or wherever else they may be from) - that's just ridiculous. It's not going to happen. It's dream land. And in reality it's never going to happen.

And again - I find the argument that the "illegals are taking our jobs" to just be nonsense. I just don't think that white (or black for that matter) America wants to do these jobs. A better argument and what is really happening is that good jobs are being sent overseas. Manufacturing and technical jobs. Now that's a real problem.

Home construction is now being dominated by illegal aliens.

 

Fine the businesses for hiring these people. Big fines. To me that's doable. Shipping everyone out of the country isn't.

 

O.K. Lets use your plan. We give the 20 million here amnesty.

Now 20 more illegal aliens come in to replace them.

The US cannont ship them back because it's ridiculous.

Now we need more government subsidy of education, medical etc. Who is going to pay that?

 

You obviously didn't read the entire article, rounding up the illegals is completely doable and beneficial for the economy. If you lived on the real planet you would know not all Americans can afford to be educated, whether it be to illness or laziness, or the present economy. Your basically saying its OK to let them break the law, as long as they do all the jobs none really wants, yet you call cleaning up the country from the lawbreakers and the filth they bring ridiculous.

Is it OK to let a murder loose as long as he kills the bad people? Though we would like to say yes, its not OK. It is above the law.

 

I live in NYC where ... I can't even imagine how many illegals do jobs here every day that make the city run. If they were taken out of the economy here ... I don't even know what would happen but I'm pretty sure the city would grind to a halt. It wouldn't be a smooth ride. Pretending it would be, doesn't make it so.

The reason people are pissed off about illegal aliens is because the economy sucks and people can't get a good job. If they could then they would go back to ignoring the illegal aliens like they have in the past. If there were fines for companies hiring illegal aliens to the point where it's no longer cost effective to hire them then the good jobs could be held for legal citizens and everyone would be happy again. There'd be less reason for illegals to come over in the first place. Illegals who couldn't find jobs would go back to their own country without people having to ship them off.

 

Im sure it would be rough, but there are plenty of americans not working to fill the place, and the plan doesnt call for ripping them all out at once, but a over a 5 year period.

I bet those business's that had hired them in the first place will thank twice next time an illegal walks in the door.

 

Believe it or not, things are so bad in some parts of the country that people do not have any other choice. And it will get worse.

 

If you gave all the benefits that illegal aliens are receiving to US citizens to perform these low paying jobs, they would be happy to get them.

 

if the illegals were gone, and we weren't spending billions to support them, perhaps we could afford to raise the wages of the "crap jobs"

That's the great American institution called capitalism. Businesses only operate to make money and the best way to do that is to automate or get cheap labor. The problem is not the illegal aliens, it's legislation that prevents trade unions from effective wage bargening and protecting their members. Now you want government to hit businesses that rely on illegal alien labor when the government's purpose is to protect businesses.

 

Businesses were using child labor to drive down wages around 1900 as it was the best way to get cheap labor.

 

What if those 200 so milions of Aliens leave USA and let the native indians to take care fo things?!

 

Native Indian, whats that? Most white folk see themselves as the natives. Pity they dont realise their ancestors were migrants at one point too.

If your country didnt spend billions on war then its people would be well looked after.

Yeah at one point when there was no law, and no authority, sure there were indians but they only took up a small portion of the land available. It was first come first serve then.

Well now its all spoken for, and there is no room for illegal immigrants. "keyword illegal" We do still admit immigrints, but under lawful terms. Its not like they shut down the border completly, we just want it to be lawful and orderly.

 

The US has a system of legal immigration and allows 1 million legal immigrants a year.

 

America would become a safer place to live and there will not be any social intolerance
