What I should look for in a video creator

I'm searching around for a really good video creator (person not software) & I know there's a lot of wannabees out there.

What should I look for when screening besides what I like in their portfolio?

    Thanks

I'd like to recommend AVS Video Editor to you, I always use it to edit video and make funny video for uploading to Youtube, it's easy to use and the quality is awesome, you can crop, cut, join, edit video with it easily. It also embeds many special effects, you can even add text to video or add background music, that's pretty cool. It worth a try

Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question

    You didn't understand my post.

I'm NOT looking for a video editing software.

    Hi,

    I'd recommend that you:
    1 - Ask for references
2 - Ask for copies of their existing work, and if possible, a reference from the person for whom they made that video
3 - Ask them their rates
4 - Ensure that they do not use copyrighted images in their works

In my opinion, looking at their existing work is particularly important - if they didn't make their last five videos to an excellent standard there is no reason to believe that your video will be any better.

Ok, that is all a given, I know all of that already. I'm talking about things like what format the video should be in, how do we know if it's optimized, things like that.

    Thanks

If your planning to put it up on YouTube look at the tags, titles and description and also search for the video on YouTube. If you mean you want the video to be optimized for higher conversion rate then see if you would purchase whatever they are selling on their video and if it is dramatic etc. If you need a video creator pm me and I will try my best.

Sony Vegas is really good, and if you wish to record your screen I suggest Camtasia Studio.

Not sure what's so confusing. I asked simple questions b/c I'm looking to hire someone to do 1-3 videos for us.

If you are that confused, you probably aren't suited for our company.

Anyone who is professional, reliable, sharp, on the ball, has at least 5-10 videos in their portfolio can PM us.

    Thank you

No one would have been confused if you had good english. Maybe try and learn some english then come back and offer the job to someone.
