what i should learn

    for editing any ready made script like hotscript is offering what kind of language i should learn only php or mysql.
    i learned php from w3schools can i edit cms for music websites by using thatknowledge which i get

    most of the scripts comes in the php and my sql combination , php is enough for you to edit many scripts
