what I need to do to run a report from server

    I made a crystal report, now I want to upload it and run it through server. Do I need to do some special setting in order to do so?

    Yep you do need to install crystal reports on the server

    I have uploaded crystal report (.rpt) file on the server what I need to do next? Do you mean by install to upload it?

    What language is your website programmed in? If its ASP.Net there is a Crystal Report view control you can put on a web page to the view the .rpt file. You'll find it in the Toolbox under Crystal Report controls. At least that's true for Visual Studio 2005.

    You will have to install the crystal reports Assemblies in the server. If you are using shared hosting, you may ask try to ask them to install
