    Hi

I am looking to start a website with a hosting company.

I have done some research online on what's important in choosing a host, but I couldn't find anyting specifically targeting at the important factors/needs for a dating site.

Webspace: How much do i need if I am expecting 100000 user accounts with pictures in a couple of years?

Bandwidth: I am going for unlimited.

SQL - Microsoft: Do I need this?

FTP- how many accounts do I need?

Servers: Do I need to rent space in multiple servers?

And anything else? Considering I will need to take care of user accounts with pictures, chat function, e-mail functions and rating (like hotornot) functions.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am still in the development phase of the idea so I would need more information for me to consider my approach.

Thank you very much you guys!

    Take care:)

Dating services like person.com use about tens of dedicated servers. But if you already have established budget start with one dedicated server. Then you will understand how much space, servers, DB you will need.
