Hello guys, Recently I have got appointed for doing SEO for a website. So I have decided to finish on page SEO first. The things I have done for on page SEO are: 1. Created quality contents for the site. Its a webmaster forum and all the contents of that forum is write manually by real user. I delete every spam posts on regular basis. 2. Added title tag, Meta tags, Meta description and meta keywords. As the site is a forum so used plugins to add those tags. 3. Added the site to google webmaster tool 4. Added robot.txt file and sitemap. Are those things enough for on page optimization or I need more things to do? Am I missing any on page SEO techniques that is important? Only whitehat techniques please....
I know that Social media is the great source of getting huge traffic and of course its a off-page SEO. I will of course do SMO on facebook, twitter and google plus. But I am concerned about on-page SEO. So did I missed any on-page SEO which might be helpful for my client's site?
Please try to add your website in Yahoo and Bing webmaster tools that will also help you to get trackback of work on those search engine.
You must follow the below points. - You must have to use at least 5% of your keywords with anchor tag in to your website content. - You meta tags must have as per white hat seo rules.
You have done all the activities which is done for on page SEO, Apart from these, you can use your keywords in your website content but should not be excessive. Good Luck....
