It's a cut throat business. My advice is to go local.

 

You need to determine what your unique advantage is over the competition. There are plenty of customers for web hosting, but when they're looking at the hundreds (thousands?) of choices, why should they select your service?

 

I wouldn't bother..... find another product to promote. The hosting market is saturated....

 

There are many businesses that can be successfully done in the market but many competitions that we can see in the market.So it is not an easy to get a success in business but it does not mean that it is impossible.You should do effective planning and take proper decision.

 

i know guys here to much big market about hosting but every one doing with there planning and i also have some planning to grow up my business in market, and ur rite bro its hard but not impossible to grow up...

You can go with a promotional video for a very low investment which describes about ur business and features you provide...just find someone who can make an animated video which would be more viral than any other media

More than Seo, or internet, rely on Local business model.

Try to sell web design package which include web design+web hosting+Seo in your local area.

It will bring more customers and you will have less competitors compared with online community.

 

Advertise. Try to get along with hosting communities. There are quite a few. Join those forums. Target those markets. Try to provide some special features. Offer good services/support. Offer discounts at the start to attract customers and earn a good reputation.
