earnings would come only if you have good amount of traffic coming in. there are other way as well but first thing you have to make sure is that you get some good traffic. tell me what is your website traffic. submit it to digg, and other social bookmarks in limit and make sure you don't get blocked. and you will have it then.
Are you getting that traffic only worldwide? US traffic has more value in general than the 3rd world countries. Content also plays an important role. Try link building to gain traiffc and also submit your link to various direcotries. Only then you can earn some good amount of traffic. I think on a later stage you can even sell CB affiliate products on skincare and health, if targetted properly, through your blog. PS: I suggest you to get a better theme for the website.
Well-done.Maybe you should spend more time on your website's layout and style to make it more attractive. And also think out some intentives to make your visitors would like to subscribe.Then you will gain more.
Join facebook and create fan pages out there of your magazine. Tell people about your product to it may help in increasing your sales.

You can use other CPM or CPC ads such as adbrite and bidvertiser. Or if you can even sell the banner ads space to private ads buyer.
I would go with quality rather than quantity when it comes to ads & revenue on an information based website. I've always found that highly targeted, unobtrusive ads that fit well with the overall look and feel of a website (and complement it), lead to higher earnings than just displaying lots of ads everywhere.
May be you can re-arrange things a bit. The ads are blatant but the content list of magazines you have on the right side shows you have lot of content. May be you can rearrange that part (list of magazines whose cover girls pics are available)
i was going to create a similar wordpress blog a year ago but figured the images are copyrighted and eventually it is illegal content for me to post... with that in mind, here is my advice. Before you think about ads, build more traffic. First focus on SEO and user experience. I would use more pictures and a better theme and in terms of seo you could change a lot.
