    I just switched from notepad to programmers notepad, but i use a different one for css... cant remember the name of it.

    basically find any editor with syntax highlighting, predictive coding (or similar) and any other features a beginner might need

    I use Scite and Notepad2. PSPad is nice, but the extra features were unnecessary(ftp was great though)

    I used to use acehtml, because it was the only thing that I had, but then I found intype and it is just amazing! I don't know how I lived without it.

    It has more then doubled the speed I code.
