    Hey everyone,

I own and maintain a forum right now which gets around 30 000 + unique visitors a month. There are usually around 50 - 200 users on the forums at once being active.

I am currently on shared hosting with the following specs:
    # Dual XEON (2 processor)
    # Dual AMD Opteron 246 @ 3.20 GHz 2+ GB Ram
    # Advanced Control Panel (Cpanel)
    # CentOS Linux
    # Redundant OC-3 / OC-12 Lines
    # 2 x 250 GB 10 RPM Ultra 320 SCSI Hard Drives.

I have no clue on what kind of server/host I should be with, or when to upgrade. Could anyone give me some advice?

For a VPS, make sure you go with a 512 Dedicated RAM and a fair amount of CPU. If you are new to VPS, make sure it's "Fully Managed".
