You can consider VPS plan at the most and later shift to dedicated server.

Some of the big sites like hostgator can have some problems because they are too big. Try to look for a host that is silghtly less popular because these usually have better customer service and try to compete with the bigger hosts by reducing their prices.

    I disagree.

If you ever have a problem you can hop onto live chat straight away, I have never had to wait longer then 2 minutes to get an answer. All of my questions relating to server issues were resolved promptly. This is ideal for me as I live in the UK and it could end up quite costly making calls to America. The only qustions they don't answer are questions relating to html code which is understandable but they do generally look for links on google related to your query...

I've just remembered that their html editor doesn't work properly. I tried to use it several times then when I tried to preview the site the text was all over the place but when I viewed it in the html editor it looked fine. I spoke to support about this and the person I spoke to agreed that there was a problem and that I would be better off using another html editor ( they recommended another free one) that's the only issue I've had with them so far but it hasn't really been a big issuse for me as I edit the code manually and don't really use html editor.

yeah,Hostgator is pretty good. And except them, there are still many other hosting providers can satisfy your demand. You'd better choose a trustworthy hosting provider
to cooperate with and use a suitable package to host your blog. What's more, consider on the service and other important things.Good luck.

I host a ton of sites on my HostMonster hosting account. AlreadyHosting.com offers a link to get hosting there for only $3.95 a month. Just thought I would share.

I have added the host I use to my sig. Have a look and consider them because they are good. You can host unlimited domains on one account and all the features are the same on all accounts except the more you pay, the more bandwidth/space you get.

I also disagree. Hostgator has excellent customer service and it is never a Malaysian (nothing against Malaysian people) 20% english speaking rep. There is always people in their live help chat, never long waits and they always help you with whatever you need :). Not to mention I've never had any problems with my sites for nearly 3 years.

+ I've missed my payment the past 3 months and my site is still running. They have empathy I guess :)

I vote for hostgator too. It's the easiest I've found to use. GoDaddy wasn't.
