I live in Australia and i wanto know if i should go with Aus hosting or international hosting, considering my target audience is all around the world.I understand im going to get better support with a host i can locally call but is this going to greatly affect the speed of my website in the eye of someone, lets say - from america, also value wise what is the cheapest? What do you use? thanks!
US-based hosting is going to provide more bandwidth for the buck, and faster connections for most of your visitors. If you have broadband at home then there are a million ways to make free phone calls to the USA so that shouldn't be a concern. The only reason to use local hosting in a backwater (I don't mean this pejoratively, it's just the reality of internet routing) like Australia is if the majority of your audience is local. Here in Malaysia the same applies.
Just focus on the quality of the host, in terms of speed, uptime, support, price and your other needs. What affiliate you will use or what audience you'll target shouldn't affect your choice, if you build a good website, they find you no matter where you host your site. I use HostGator, simply because i consider them as the best service in that price range.
Make sure you research the hosting you're planning to get, go read ratings and unbias reviews from customers, because there are some crap hosting out there.
Some people also find 1and1 to be quite good.... especially since they are pretty reasonably priced. As most of the others have stated, reliability is the issue.... having one in your own area/country is of no consequence. PJ
Your Hosting doesn't have any kinda relations with your earnings Whenever you want to find good host, first check following features: Maximum uptime around the clock Fast response of support/backend team for your queries Allow's you to host maximum no. of domains Finally, affordable according to your needs Above are my assumptions
masked url is against DP policy and affiliate link in the post is also against the rule. just to let you know since you are new
