What hosting Co. do you recommend?

here is another vote for hostgator. I've been quite happy with them. Their online chat support can be hit or miss on anything other than simple questions so best to email them instead, response is very quick.

Canaca.com has good prices. $4 a month for 500 gigs.

 

I use hostmonster.com i think...
I paid $115 for 2 years with a free 2year domain name.

There might be better ones out there, but i was in a hurry so...

I've been working with Dreamhost for 4 months and everything goes well with them. Recently had a problem with one discussion list, I wrote them and they answered me in less than 6 hours. I certainly reccomend them.

 

I'm deffinetly going with hostgator! Their support is the best there is no downtime at all great plans and plus yo can pay with paypal!

They no longer offer 4.95$ plan to new customers.

Their cheapest plan is now 6.95$ per month.

 

I highly recommend staying away from them. They oversell way too much and their support is non-existent. We used to use them and quickly moved away.

Dreamhost with promo codes can get you good hosting for $25 a year!

 

dreamhost would prolly be your best choice again IMO... they are good from what ive heard of, what do you think? but whatever you do dont go with godaddy heard nothing but bad things with them... also 1and1 isnt very good at all... ive had them
