I'm using Aplus.net ($99/month dedicated), their customer service is outstanding and it was very easy to set up, but, of course, I've been finding better deals left and right since I've signed up with them... haven't had a single problem with them though.
I use Elixant.com I have gone through so many hosts it is insane. All of that stopped when I found Elixant. Great prices, awsome support, it really doesn't get much better.
Using asmallorange.com here. Support's been good, and most others using them seem to have had pretty good experiences. Unfortunately, since they're waiting for a new datacenter to open, they're limiting new customers to 25/day or something like that.
I use bluecityhosts.com they are a very new hosting company, but they've been super awesome to me. They've went out of their way to help me with stuff.
Can I promote the host on my sig? If so, try out DealHostUSA One of my clients hosts with GoDaddy. I don't like updating his site that much... probably coz I don't like Godaddy's control panel ... but then again, I usually don't host where I register my domains. I like keeping them separate
ServerMatrix (part of The Planet) Got a really good deal awhile back and still sticking with it. Service is good, haven't had any major problems yet. Setup was very fast (for dedicated hardware).
I had someone I met on a forum recommend the host that I have. The guy that recommended the hosting company to me had a good reputation so I trusted him on it.
By trying several hosts and been on the receiving end of poor service several times, choosing a good host has not been an easier process but after I found mine and settled on it finally, I have never regretted since
