The title sais it all...which horror movie was so extreme that it left you feeling sick to your stomache afterwards?

That's a good one...I was totally freaked out after I watched The Exorcist the first time.

Another one that comes to mind was "Damian Omen 1" and "The Shining"

Cannibal Holocaust and majority of others cannibal movies. I can't eat whole day after watching that movie.

Ive got a thick skin when comes to horror movies and rarely am i freaked out by gruesome or bloody movie scenes but the scariest movies for me are the ones where there is implied horror and suspense that builds without revealing the mysteries - that is more fearful and effective at getting to me

The japanese style horror flicks are good at this without relying on just special effects like hollywood - The original japanese version of The Ring was a bit scary and The Grudge

So many slasher flicks these days are more comedies where charcters do such stupid things which result in their deaths - they deserve to die when they run into some dark house with a psycho killer in there LOL

The Blair Witch annoyed me and sucked me in

Halloween, Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Shinning may not have been scary but have their sickening moments

I totally agree. The slasher flicks just make me laugh more than actually scare me. So many of them are just "B movies". The great ones build suspense in such a way that you just aren't expecting it. Most slasher flicks tend to let you know through the background music what's coming up next, which for me kind of ruins the element of surprise.

I forgot about Hostel it had some real gut churning moments

For those that dont know - it was about tricking unsuspecting tourists to eastern europe countries to be kidnapped where they chop them up using every way possible to harvest their body organs to sell.........

Good when the innocent people fight back against the baddies and get some revenge

Turned me off ever visiting some of those countries :)

Then you just haven't seen any good movies :p

I would say watch Dead End, simply because It doesn't follow any rules of cinema. It's the only film that has ever made me feel a bit ick afterwards, and i've seen all the ones mentioned on here so far.
Its seriously worth watching and it stars Ray Wise (The demon guy out of reaper.)

Slasher flicks, gory movies, they don't really affect me at all. There are only a few movies that have left me feeling sick, two that I can recall are "An American Crime" and "Stoic" but those are dramas, horror movies are just entertaining comedy movies really. :D

Texas Chainsaw Massacre freaked me out a bit, but I was stoned when I was watching it, which could have had something to do with it.
