OK, I've been adding to my wordpress blog today and adding some new plugins. Thing is, that when I added two plugins, one went in fine, the other said it couldn't load as it would cause a fatal error. Now when I log into the wordpress dashboard it's saying: ----------------------------------------------- Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11520 bytes) in /home/sites/dot-com-biz.com/public_html/blog/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1209 Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11520 bytes) in /home/sites/dot-com-biz.com/public_html/blog/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1209 ---------------------------------------------- Everything seems to be working OK, when I view the site it looks fine, but have I broken something? Do I need to do anything or is it telling me that there was a problem? I hope someone can help me. Kelly
Well, some hosts have a script memory limit you can use. For example a script will not run if it will take more than 8MB of memory and 30 seconds to run. The plugin you're trying to install may be one of those your hosts does not support. Don't worry about it, nothing is wrong. All you have to do is deactivate the plugin. Hope this helps,
