Think about how many others are targeting same string. Chicago is not exactly a small community. At this stage you are probably one small minnow in a big pond (Great Lake).

It's hard to rank high in Google if you do not do SEO techniques. Only blog is not enough, you can use some paid advertisement programs such as Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing.

I think you need to add more unique content, as related to 'point of sale chicago' to your blog. Try also to get more backlinks with that anchor text in the hyper-ref tag. This could lead you to higher rankings for the keyword phrase 'point of sale chicago' as you want.

As I can see, you might get some "keyword stuffing" penalty there.

This page repeats over 20x "point of sale" keyphrase.

All you need to do is reduce the usage of this keyword to 2-3% keyword density level of overall page.

You can use synonym or other similar targeted keywords instead of repeating your main keywords several times.

Get more quality backlinks to your site, as I assume that you are targeting Google search here.

You need to get backlinks from
    - relevant pages - website, blog, article directory, comments, etc
    - only dofollow link helps your ranking
    - higher page rank pages will help too
    - Get link using anchored "point of sale chicago" to your preferred page URL
    - Get from unique domain, unique IP sites.
    - Low outbound links (don't bother pages with more than 100 links)

The more quality backlinks you get, the higher you will rank in search results.

Since you don't have the budget, I can suggest you try some free link building process.

    Good luck to you!
