what have I done to one of my site?

    I don't actually know how my site got raise up to PR3 in less than 2 months without doing much thing on it and in fact, i almost forgot that I had this website.

    Two months ago I registered a domain name at namecheap.com and this domain is mainly promoting a co-registration ebook.

    So, what I have done in the beginning?

    Here are 2 things I had done, no other thing I do but I had been wondering how it could raise up to PR3.

    1. Submitted The Site to Search Engines directories through submitexpress.com

    2. Submitted only 3 Written Articles based on the keyword for my site contents, basically i just extract some point out from the product and add some of my own word to it, the articles title I place is like "7 benefits Way To Build A Successful Email Relationship" rather than using "Building Email Relationship" which made me think the title of the article is generating the backlink traffic to my site.

    I submitted my articles to about 50 article directories, which includes ezinearticles.com , goarticles.com , articlecity.com and searchwarp.com

    By doing this 2 task, I left my site for 2 months doing nothing after that, but I made 50 sales for this site during the first week and until 2 days ago, when I checked back my site and I saw this site PageRank had increased from 0 to 3, this make a surprised to me about the 2 task I did it 2 months ago.

    What's your thoughts on this?

    I am willing to hear more strategies that you had used and what have you done in order to increase your website PR in the shortest time possible.

    Wish that someone could share their experience here.

    try to get a links from higher pr sites. Network with as much as webmasters and bloggers you can. most of the bloggers even don't know what a Page Rank is. Give them comments and support and get link backs from them.

    first , do not stop submitting your articles to article directories and do not stop link directory submission.

    as an alternative you can start to use social bookmark sites

    Yes, I agreed with you guys...

    Currently, I am doing the following work to get into PR4 - PR7:

    1. Submit to as many directories as I can

    2. Bookmark my site to the top 30 social bookmarking sites and of course I do not stop submitting to others.

    3. Write articles with keyword targeted subject, submit them to at least 50 article directories with my article submitter software...and again I keep submitting when I have time

    4. Leave comments on related webmaster blogs, write review for others website

    5. Participate in link exchange programs but there are some tricks need to be observed when doing link exchange with other webmasters.

    6. Viral Marketing methods - participate more on JV campaigns and give out free report

    7. Write press release

    8. Submit RSS feed contents

    9. Do more Forums posting...

    and few more...I will post it here when i got it done effectively.
