Many people in these forums say that there earnings have fallen drasticly this month and i myself have had the same problem and i could say that my earnings have fallen 50%. But i still like YPN much better then Adsense.

    ---------------

Compared to what I earned monthly from Sept 2005 - through March 2006, as of April 1 2006 my YPN earnings (EPC) dropped roughly 40% per click.

Now as of May 8, I am about 55% lower....... definately is a type of 'smartpricing', I can't believe it's a temporarly up and down, since it's been bad and is slowly getting worse now for 38 days for me.

I thought it was the geotargeting but think I may be wrong.

Remained steady at about .4 percent clickthrough on avg I think.

Payout is kind of a relative thing depending on content but I think it has dropped off a bit lets guess and say that it was 50 % but my field was high volume and low cost as far as PPC topics seems most my inventory of keywords are discontinued as far as search goes.

I just run a couple of reports on my ypn account after reading this thread and here's my discovery: n:) drop on my side - has been increasing every month from Jan to today. traffic/clicks remain relatively the same.

I think the drop is not across the board.

fyi, i never played with target feature which stays how i setup the 1st day.

Hmmm. I must be doing something right then! Mine keeps going up. I'd say an increase by about 25%. I am not complaining at all!

Well lets see if you leave it alone you make more. If you target you make less.

Defaults to Vonage and Lending tree sucks no one clicks those because its like PPC SPAM its everywhere. Their more in it for exposure and not clickthrough I think as all advertisers. They want you to see their name ie. Brand constantly but they don't want you to click the ads. They just want it in your face 24/7 I think the defaults to vonage and lending tree is kind of stupid though.

I will buy vonage soon but its still despicable I don't know if its becasue I really want it or because Its on my webpages 24/7 and I am forced to stare at it.
