Just one week ago, prior to the minor reindexing, my site was being returned as #1 for ‘London Escort Agency’ and ‘London Escort Services’ and in the top ten for 15 other keywords. The following nine positions for each keyword were occupied by well-established, well-authored sites. On Friday this all changed. Search for either of the above and you’ll be presented with largely irrelevant results. The above keywords are now #7 and #8 respectively. I have more than 19,000 Yahoo backlinks and my site is very well ranked in MSN (#1 and #2 for the same two keywords, and more than 15 other keywords in the top ten). My question is: should I just sit tight and see if the reindexing has yet to be completed, or rewrite my on-page content? The fact that Yahoo is currently displaying an out-of-date cached page for the above keywords makes me uncertain whether to wait or proceed with the rewrite. Please help me out with your suggestions.
