I have been a member of DP for a little over a year now. While I probably belong to a dozen internet marketing forums (heavy emphasis on affiliate marketing), I always 'come back home' to DP. Most of my time has been spent in the Affiliate Marketing and General Marketing Forums, but a little while back, I started visiting General Chat more often. Now, I find myself posting here. If you know me from the AM and GM forums, you know I can be anywhere from very helpful to very controversial at the drop of a hat depending on the subject and my thougts. I love this place. It is a very productive place for online marketers to question, contribute, agree and disagree while all the time helping all of us to hone our marketing skills. General Chat has allowed me to blend and see more of the "human side" in the business side of my colleagues and internet friends. Thank you, DP. Keep up the good work, one and all! at general chat we discover many friends. as there is no limitation to what you can post, i mean almost no limitation, so you can have a more human like thoughts running. general chat helps to make a comunity at dp, so i guess this part of dp is helping us to get more close, than just to raise out post count!
What this has done for me. Well being able to relax while working on a huge content work assignment is always great. ( 1,005 Q+A ) For a website is the contract I am currently working on O_O. It's a lot and you wonder why I have so many posts..I am a fast typer. And DP is a great forum and I have been making some side money off of it. ( as well as gotten that 1,005 Q+A from here). So I post where I can and as well as in here if nothing more then to give comic relief. ( this is like one of the posts I get paid to do lol..A+ quality.*check my itrader *)
Definately a lot of laughs and I have to agree that it shows a more personal side to some people that we wouldnt otherwise see
A more personal interaction occurs in General Section. I think I get to know members and make friends.
When you post in General chat, you do give out a lot of hints about the person you are. Makes for interesting observation
The general chat gave me a chance to discover various information aside from webmastering and the funny side of life.
Today has been spent about 70/30 on general chat/youtube... I planned to write a few articles and do some link building... If anyone sees me in general chat again today, could you please, kindly tell me to p!ss off and get some work done? Its good fun though, and interesting to see the other side of the DP regulars. DD
What I like in General chat is when I want to relax for a moment in my seat, I can voice out my off-topic opinions.
Because... 1) Yes alot of humor by pic and article 2) To raised post account more faster 4) Alot of help and informations which is the knowledge sharing is not focus in 1 part. They are various knowledge you can get here.. we are not niche!!
