For my h1 tag on my page... what has more value? "Best _____ in _______ - Name of Page" or Name of Page - Best ______ in ________-" or "Name of Page" e.g -Best Computer Games in 2007 - Halo -Halo - Best Games In 2007 -Halo Does it make sense to use that in my description also? im thinking yes. and since it would be in my description would it make more sense to use "Name of Page - Best ___ in _____"? think i might have answered my own question.. but opinions please Not my niche, changed it around for privacy. Thanks -Tim
i would go with option 2 though h2 tags carry more weight than h1 tags do when it comes to search engines. odd, yes i think so but it's true.
You generalized your question so much I'm not sure what the question is. But: For your H1 tags just use whatever works best for people as long as appropriate keywords are included without overdoing it. Google will use your title tag in the serps anyhow. In the title tag put your primary on page keywords first, general brand second.
i think the important thing is to put your keywords on h1 tag or on bold tag for it to add more weight on your keywords
Forget about the name of the site and get more keywords there. You will probably rank well for your own domain name, so why waste time there?
For SEO go for number 2. Number 3 will also be successful though. Number 1 has more chance of landing your page in google supplimental index.
