If you own a High PR site and consider exchanging links to site with low PR, what effect can it do to your high PR site? or it doesn't matter?
I think it doesn't matter . If your Site Rank is high and Other Site Rank is low the link Exchanging Good the low Page rank owner not for you.
The smaller site will get all the credit It's not supposed to harm your site as long as the other site content is relevant to yours.
It doesn't matter to have your word on other sites but in this case sometimes it can be a bad practice. If you want your site to link to another site then make sure that you dont share your link juice in the process by adding a Nofollow tag to the link.

PR shows the reputation and quality of any site. And low PR means that site not holds quality data or links. So if you have high PR site and you exchanging links with low PR site then it will make your site rank low as through low PR site you will not get quality data and links as you have now and you will loss quality and reputation of your site. But every time not like this so you can exchanging links with best topic and with carefully.
