What happens when my server goes down?

If I am running an AdWords campaign and my destination server goes down, does AdWords automatically pause the campaigns or does it keep sending traffic?

 

Why will adwords automatically stop or pause!

U need to manually pause or stop the campaign

 

As abixalmon say, you need to be on top of this and pause your campaign.

 

You'll continue to receive traffic as normal.

 

They will pause involved campaings if your site is down long.

 

If this is something that you're concerned about - investigate a service such as adsupervision.com/ which monitors your server and pauses your AdWords automatically if it goes down.
