What happens to my non cashed checks when the company i worked for filed a Ch.11 bank

    i still have some non cashed checks from a company who filed a Ch.11 bankruptcy. I went last time to my bank to cash those checks but their account were closed. How do you think i get my checks cashed

    Hopefully it's not a lot of money. Why would you hold on to your checks? Anyway, I would talk to the company...

    You'll have to make a claim with the bankruptcy court and wait in line with all the other creditors. Chances are you'll never see your money...

    True, if a company is bankrupt, it means they have almost zero assets and are not able to pay their creditors. Chances are, you will either get nothing, or if you are lucky, pennies on the dollar.
