The reason I ask is because I switched to a new account with clickbank due to promoting different products, etc. and found that not only did I not get paid for my last week with an account which was promoting a particular product, but I still have more money on the debit side. Since I'm not planning on using this clickbank account again, at least not in the near future, what happens on clickbank's end? How do they enforce something like that? I feel like I'm fleeing the city with unreturned library books.
Well on a serious note, if you use direct deposit you give them the authority to credit your account, as well as debt your account. If your using checks then I don't know, sorry.
I doubt they pursue these accounts. Try emailing them to ask them. I bet they say that they don't bother recovering it. I bet it's not even a legally enforcible debt.
I haven't inspected their TOS regarding this issue, but you should just do the right thing and send enough sales into that account to cover the negative balance. My 2 c.
good question. i'd like to know the answer. if even u don't have a new account, you might just 'stop marketing' some day and what if you get returns then ? food for thought....
I figure the withheld will cover most or all of it, hell I may even get some more allowance down the line, but it's a good question for people who crank out a shit ton of sales one week then just stop for whatever reason, like maybe the product was recalled or something, then the refunds start pouring in.
