What happens if paypal catches a vcc verified account?

I have used a vcc to verify my account. What will happen if paypal comes to know about this? I assume that my account will be limited in some way but since they already have my bank details...so they will know that i am who i say i am and i have used a vcc just to get my account into a verified status right? right? In such a situation...is there anyway i can delimit/defreeze my account?

I don't think there is a way for paypal to know about your vcc usage.

 

Just in case if my luck is bad and paypal do find out about it and limit my account..can i then talk to them and delimit it? Has anyone got into any problems using a vcc?

 

I don't understand how the paypal could find out a VCC verification? but if they did, sometimes they would ban your account. The best advice I can give you is continually use VCC or any other method to keep the verified state. Yes even after a VCC is expired your verified state remain intact, but you'll be notified that your card is expired so its better you use another VCC to renew it.

 

What will happen then..can i make them lift the ban after sending some identification. I read that in case of verification problems.. paypal will ask for some identification and if its satisfactory, then they will be lifting the ban..is it right? I had already verified my account using a vcc last year and it has expired on feb 2008 i have not faced any problems so far but i had to enter a new card since i wanted to make some payments to godaddy

 

well if paypal catch you with the vcc thing ,they will limit the account and to lift limitation will ask yo to attach a new card and also might require you to upload your documents..

 

I think it's OK, what vcc did you use?

 

They will limit your account at the most because the funds that you are having in your bank cannot be debited via paypal .You are not doing anything illegal so there is nothing to be worried about .

I Do not believe that paypal cannot verify it .when adwords,facebook can differentiate between cc and Vcc why not paypal ?

 

Paypal is certainly known to take action against using VCC...the punitive action varies from limiting the account for want of additional documents or just simply, restoring the UNVERIFIED status back on the account!
