What happens if I add my site to my signature

I have new made a site, if I add my site to my signature, will I go sandbox for over backlink?

No you don't get sandboxed for adding a link in a forum signature. I'd recommend it to build backlinks and traffic.

I wonder what makes you so apprehensive about having a backlink from your signature space?

PR ranking is solely based on back links and people are falling head over heels in creating backlinks, why should you worry over just a single link?

Google can understand how forum works. You will get good backlinks and also decent traffic from signatures.

 

This is what everybody is doing, just try it..

this is actually interesting ... if someone with 10000 posts and no signature should suddenly add a link to his sig,
which would result in 10000 links out of nowhere... would this still be harmless for serps?

 

I don't think the signature with links gets applied to posts previously made without a signature. Anybody able to clarify that?
