What Happened with Google PR?

A few days ago my website http://slayo.com PR dropped to PR-2 and today Increased to PR-3 again, anybody got experience like this? I have got experience twice like this, at the time my web PR dropped to PR-0 (disappeared) and the next fews day appear again, I am really confuse

 

That's good that you gain your PR again with the increment of 1. Sometimes, Google got delay for some sites.

 

May be Fake PR....I am not sure.

 

It seems Google is still updating your site's PR.
Just wait for a few more days to stable.

 

It is not about PR only, google index like that too, a few days ago my index drop and look like no index to my latest posts but the latest post if I check have index by google, today my index increased to significant. Maybe yes that you said, google still updating PR and index, thanks

 

It happen during the update period but it will be stable after couple of days. DOnt worry about that

 

They are still working on updates and seem to be having troubles. Hang in there.

 

Google may delay for updating but adsense payment may not delay hehehehe. Yeah we will wait and see for the next days

 

Its happens to me.. this is bcz while update PR google taking long time to finish in all datacenters... once finish in all datacenters will get consistent PR and also remain unchanged

 

Ahh the waves of pagerank! What about the monthly yahoo dump. that will get you worried.

 

I have had a several experience. One of my inner page had a PR 3. Then, one day it suddenly disappeared. But the other pages that are only linked to from this page retained their PR. It was funny. A few days later this particular page did recover its PR.

 

Damn my website went up from 3 to 4 and now its 3 again in only a few days

 

mine did the same thing and my backlinks were updated.

 

Had the same thing, one site went from 2 to 0 and then back to 3.

 

the pr for my site has remained the same but the number of backlinks using link:site.com has increased/was updated recently.
i also went around and checked some of the directories that i keep track of and there have been a number of changes there too with page rank. most of those that changed, a few, have lost like 1 degree of ranking. so it looks like maybe an update of some sort is going on....

 

maby some impermant links. i know my site is on the first page for one keyword constantly while off and on in another keyword

It used to happen like that when PR update is in progress.

 

Newer sites can often have thier PR moved up and down, its just google deciding what to do with it basically. The same happens with search engine results pages, sites can often move up and down in thier first few months until they have been indexed andf cached. Give it some time and your PR will settle.

 

Such sudden changes in PR and that too up and down are not very common...Perhaps some DC reported your stats wrong and they had to re update your PR to reflect the correct stats.

In the end, you should be happy that eventually you have got an upgrade!
