Its not redirecting! I believe he has installed IIS :) IIS most probably not having any virtualhost entry for that domain, though dns is directing that server, or may dns is directing a IIS server where no virtualhost entry is built for vt16 :)

This thread is higly unessecary as i am not OSHQ or scam people off!

I will update people trough our SYSTEM and not DP forums when i have some more information! But currently it looks like the DC has done a terrible mistake a few hours before i was about to move all the accounts to the new dc becaus of slow support and incompetent people at softlayer!

This has only affected the US and Proxy accounts and has not affected our UK and Malaysia customers!

We are sorry for any inconvinice, but it might look like all files are lost! We are not sure yet and are talking with the DC to actually see if this is what have happend or if they have a a backup!!

We appoligze to everyone for this terrible mistake the DC has done! If someone is interested in getting their site up asap and get their website up and running! Then please send me a PM, i will set you up on a new account and you can upload your website!

For now that is all i can do, but i hope that everything will be up and running asap.. If not, then we are going to come to a different solution!

    Thanks,
    Freddy

    Hello,

I myself hope that everything will be sorted out soon :) Why this thread was unnecessary, you are not a customer with vT16! At least not what i know of, basicly you are a competitor, and i realise that your eager to tell everyone that your competior is down and that you are to be trusted is very high!

Its the human nature, but still!

    Thanks,
    Freddy

I can't believe I even have to. You have said numerous things against OSHQ when it was not necessary.

    Hello,

I myself had decided to stay away from everything that was related to OSHQ! Even Max had his wish were he did not want people to know that i made his new website and it would not be mentiond in any way!

But if you check a little bit further, then it was Max who dragged me into the discussion and blamed his shit support on me! So basicly, i did not point out anyone elses flaws! Someone else did, Max invloved me and i got involved!

    Thanks,
    Freddy

I've been with SoftLayer for a few years and am extremely satisfied with their service and support. They are very friendly and helpful so it sounds like this is a rare case. Goodluck getting your service issues resolved.

Thanks for ignoring my question. Shouldn't you have kept backups off-site to prevent a situation like this from happening?

Having problems with Softlayer? Wow, that's pretty rare. Hope you get the files back at any rate.

Sorry to hear this. Freddy's a good guy and I know he's doing everything he can to fix this. although softlayer is a good company miscommunication is possible and companies do make mistakes.
