What happened to paying someone $100.00 an hour to get the top spot?

    I've heard a lot of people say that you can just pay a professional and they can get your site on the first page of a search. How does the sandbox affect them? Or does such an animal exist?

    being top ranked is easy if you have the tools ...

    but being sandboxed for excessive SEOing is another game..

    Thanks for the info.
    I've heard a lot that Google doesn't like excessive links so I'm going to just starting out with Google Addwords and see how this goes. Any more input?

    You only get sandboxed if your site or blog is very young.
