What happened to my $?!?!?

Wow, I am very disturbed, and I need some help. I have about 40 websites that, combined, generated for me about $800 per month...through Adsense. The 40 sites were at about, on average, $27 per day.

All of a sudden, I went from making $27 per day to about $3 per day...literally 1,600 hits per day on my sites to about 500 hits. Obviously, my Google Adsense money just went away.

Does anyone know what happened to me??? I'm wondering how, in one day's time, there could've been such a drastic drop off?

    Thanks.

I agree, your SERP positioning seems to be the problem, it is unusual for a sudden drop like this, I would try paying a few $1,000's on marketing and promotion on your keywords, and get some targetted traffic ads as well. It will be possible to get it back up again in 1 day if it has gone in 1 day.

If you keep trend data or use some applications like Google Analytics, you could easily see where your traffic/revenue has dropped and improve it.

Please keep us updated on the problem and whether it gets resolved.

    Thanks for the help.

Let me ask you this...what is the number one way to generate traffic to my site?

I've heard many ways, but I'm wondering what the BEST way is?

    THANKS!

There's plenty of ways to divert traffic to your site.. it depends on how much time you have and how much money you want to spend on it :D

check web stats log files. do research.

maybe your keywords are seasonal, and summer is over.

The thing is...it was one day...for months I was at about $27 per day, and then in one day... I'm at $2 per day...

I just don't know what the hell happened, and I don't know what SERP is either... I'm a rookie.

Google is permanently update their algorithm. It's not unusual at all to lose your traffic temporarily.
If you're blogs are MFA maybe they are penalized.

Do not blame it on adsense. This is a purely traffic problem.

In order to be able to quit your job you should diversify 2 things: Income Sources and Traffic Sources.
