What happened to my weight?

After all the nice posts I have submitted I am saddened :( .

2 Days ago my server was hacked so I was forced to take it down for 5 hours and install new OS. Before I took it down I had a total of approx 250/k in weight. When I went live again ALL accounts are showing 0 weight.

    Any ideas

A lot of long standing co-op members are losing weight (though it doesn't feel as great as those Jenny Craig commercials would have you think). Some are saying the Google API is all messed up since a lot of tools utilizing it aren't functioning like they once were (such as g-metrics). However, the keyword tracker is working, so who knows.

I'm also seeing a sharp decline in SERP Positioning.

    Yea,
I as well am showing a decline in weight. Although I believe its temporary as being flux within the DC's, but as of today a few of my accounts have seen a significant drop in weight. I'm pretty sure it will go back up sometimes today or tomorrow though.

I too have lost weight without trying. This google diet is killing me and I hope it's a temporary fad. It's been three days already

If you dropped all the way to 0, then it might be only Google API problem and it should correct it itself shortly. If your weight just went down (but not to 0), then Google actually might decreased the number of your pages in the index.

I guess what I'm wondering is if the fact that my server was down for 5 hours has anything to do with it???

All my accounts (15 or so) have '0' weight :(

Are you validating? Are you using an API?

The keyword tracker uses the API. You can get your page count in google's api via that tool.

Did you do anything special to get your weight back up or did you just wait it out? My site's wieght is now 0 after being in the 60,000s. I suspect it's because of the API showing 0 pages for the site: command (even though my site has over 11,000 pages indexed if you use the site: command at google.com). Of course, that API is showing 0 pages for all sites.

Just waited it out. My webserver went offline for 5 hours...it took about 48 hours for my weght to return. I am sure your luck will change if it hasn't already ;)
