Wow that's not right. My thread was merged into someone else's, sarahk's. Is this because she's a moderator and because I had an idea she tried to steal it?

I went through all the hard work of typing the rules and what its about to have it merged into a thread to help benefit a moderator?

    That's fucked up.
Just delete the post if you're not going to use it and please don't mess with my threads or posts - total bullshit when I go through the trouble to create something fun and uniquely do it by creating my own rules, wording, etc, just to have it stolen.

    Just delete it.

On top of that as you can see my thread was unique and an idea for all DP members...sarahk's thread was made to whore herself to get new MySpace threads. Mine was created for all DP members to find each other on MySpace...hers is just for adding people to her own profile.

Lame. And yes I'm pissed, and for all the right reasons.

Look, EGS; the decision was made so stop being a dick about it. Move on and forget about it, regardless of whether you agree or disagree.

After the banning debacle at Digg we need to be very careful about how visibly we join up and gain friends. Any thread like http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=121441 risks being seen as abusive and it's best we keep it all in the same place. The sort order is by date so it's just as possible that mine would have been merged into yours. Makes no odds to me. Are you worried you'll lose out on DP revenue?
The threads serve the same purpose so it's not unique.
Your name is still on your post so how have I stolen your intellectual property?
How can something with only 11 posts be ever so popular?

Are you an idiot? My thread was lengthy, detailed, and for everyone.
Hers was for herself with no rules and without fun. And she'll be pocketing money too with the revenue sharing hack.

Whatever, I don't care what you guys think. I know I'm right, and you can't argue with me about it. I took the time out to write a unique thread with a unique idea - she simply, and pathetically, asked for friends for her own profile. I just followed the rules of my own game that I made up.

Your moderators and other members can call me names all you want. Doesn't show you guys have any professionalism or enthusiasm with your job.

I see now why my good friend labrocca chose to leave. I just came back here and made a vow to stay good but I'm still a target. No member should feel like a constant target.

I resign my position here as a member.
Thanks to those who did have fun with me in threads, etc, here at DP. Sucks the losers and ones who ruin the fun here at DP have to be the ones "in charge".

Write or wrong its his thread. So I guess if he doesn't want it then just delete it and end this topic. There is no point in playing the blame game.

I think we have found the crux of the matter. EGS wanted to get a few cents from the revenue sharing.

Well since you gave me a red rep for no reason. I dont think you deserve a reply.

It's sad some people just go and abuse the things they are given, without bothering with anything else... real sad.

I am out of this thread.. I voice my own opinion and I dont like it when ppl feel threathened when they hear an opinion that doesnt go with the one they hold.

    Adios

Furion I DID NOT give you a red rep.

It's sad that people ACCUSE others of doing something when they DID NOT do it!

I appologise for having made that assumption then... In reply to your earlier post...

Well, he started the post... he did spend considerable amount of time into it... and I see so many threads here dealing with the same thing.. should all be merged? maybe or maybe not.

Fact is, if a person starts a thread and even if it has a lil variation then its his. It's not counted as spamming or something on the lines which doesn't go with the rules.

Since the post was merged and the original author is so frustrated about it. I think he should be given the choice to decide the future of his own thread... if its going to be merged with something else.

Therefore, I'd prefer it to be deleted.. rather than go against the will of the person who started it.
