Recently my site started showing up in Google differently. Though I have a post indexed, that post is way way down in the search results than other posts that have those keywords. I even don't know how to explain that. For example every post you make is listed in the recent post section and whatever post you make will have Titles of other posts in the RECENT POST(or something) section. So when any post is indexed titles of other posts will also get indexed. And this is what happened. I made a post and when I check the URL of the post, it is indexed. But when I check with the title of the post then it is not that post I see in Google. It is another post which has the title of the first article in the recent's section. In other words Another post which has only the title(keyword) is ranked way higher than the actual post. I am confused. May be I confused you too. Sorry. But how come?? I installed some plugins recently. Can that be the reason? I will uninstall and see the results.
I believe you're having a problem with WordPress, maybe your TITLE tags are not properly in place. You can try out the all in one SEO pluggin and see if that helps.
what plugins u have installed. Can u tell me. So we can know the reason whether the problem with plugins or some other issue
These are the plugins that I installed. I removed popup because it was the latest which I think caused the problem. But no change after I uninstalled it. The other problem I noticed is that the posts I made some months ago are appearing in the recents posts section. You know I used to see posts in order of their posted time when I load my home page. But now Previous posts appear there too. I think It is posted Today again because it has the post time as today. What is wrong? will uninstalling and reinstalling the theme help? Or give me an idea. My posts are indexed but another post showsup in Google search. This is my problem. Even more mess I encountered. I uninstalled and reinstalled the theme. BTW it is great free theme and I deactivated all plugs. And activated only two plugins namely mystat and wplapdance. Then this is what happened to my site. The indexed pages or posts that appear are with on site search URLs. and when I click those search URLs, it says post not found. It is as if someone made a search on my site with that keyword but no post found page appeared. That page(no post found) is what appears in Google. Or tags are indexed higher. Okay when tags are indexed when I click that url in Google that redirects to the original post. But the search result page as I mentioned before leads to no post found page. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help??
Now it seems it became properly indexed. I uninstalled theme and reinstalled it. also disabled all plugs and activated only two mystats and Simple 301 Redirects But the empty page result appears till now meaning when some keyword is searched then that keyword will be searched on my site and nopost result page is indexed and appears as such in Google. More or less it is corrected.
If you have just installed a plug in, it will change everything that Google sees. So if you are not using a sitemap, Google will not think the page has changed and not index it again.
