What Happened To My Rankings?

    Hey guys,

I own the site - www[dot]gearsofwartoys[dot]com - I was ranking well for the following keywords:
    Gears Of War Toys
    Gears Of War Action Figures

I had received around 500 UV during my FIRST month owning this site. In that time I built backlinks, added backlinks with Scrapebox and a 5,000 backlink blast (barely indexed so far) with Xrumer.

My results for the above keywords have now vanished, I can't find my site in the top 10 pages - have I been sandboxed?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

I think you have not made quality backlinks. Initially you got the benefit, but later google have find and removed those.. You check all your backlinks and do not try to make backlinks from any website.

Most likely sandboxed. Avoid all these automated mass link builders, and build your links slow and steady, that's the best way.

Also... fix your loading time, and... your ebay store is not working. Your site seems to load slow for me and there is an error message for your ebay store plugin.

eBay store is working fine for me, so is the site loading time.

Is there anyway at all I can bring my rankings back up?
Yeah, I also mentioned that barely any of the xrumer links were indexed.

Ok, we've established that I created bad links - how do I get out of the sandbox?

    Hi,

In my own experiences, automatic back linking tools like Xrumer would usually boost your back links and SERP in short period but also would not last for long. Analyzing your top 10 competitors' sites using SEO tools like SEO Elite would be really helpful for this purpose since it would help in finding the niche relative authority sources for back linking purpose. This would be really helpful for releasing from sandbox.

    all the best,

Keep on building links (albeit slower). Submit your site again in a week or so to search engines, social bookmarking places etc. Google will re-evaluate your site if you keep building quality links. Think of it as a slap on the wrist, then show them that you have a worthy site.

    Good luck

For me this link building process seems quite hard process. I just a beginner, and it goes so slowly ... maybe I just have to take it, that thing like that do not happen fast and that it. I have heard about sandbox and really hope not to get in it. Many of you mentioned that Generation6 had build a bad backlinks, but at the beginning when you do not have any backlinks it is hard not to look at all those possibilities that are mentioned in the Internet. I also tried to install some of these strange programs but for my luck none of them worked on my computer, so I will keep going on this slow, unpleasant way ... Good luck for you Generation6 with your backlinks and also getting out of sandbox if you really have got there!

forget what everyone above said. keep building links at a decent pace. you're most likely not even sandboxed, just in a readjustment phase. if you keep building quality backlinks targetting only one term per page on your site, you will rise back up the rankings. backlink indexers like Link Velociraptor don't hurt either... =)

Yep. They're all gone. Don't use those, it won't work.
