My site www.computer-realm.net had a PR of 3 and i just realized that its PR is now unranked, not zero, how is that even possible???generally if PR is reduced it is reduced to a minimum of zero, how did it get an N/A?????:mad:

I suggest you wait for few dyas, maybe you will see your PR again or you will see a increase in your site's PR.

PR is acting really strange these days.

As long as you are good in SERPs don't worry about the PR, same thing happened to few of my sites I went from high PR to Unranked, but SERPs are same, that's all that matters.

dude thats not the right attitude. its not a bad site, i just bookmarked your contact form post on del.icio.us because it's a good form.

although i dont go along with the whole PR is dead / meaningless thing it's more likely that someone upline from you has been penalised and maybe had their dubious (tb) PR levels reduced, but most in this situation say that this doesnt usually effect their traffic at all.

and tbPR has been wierd for a few months now anyway so dont worry about it, just focus on more and more good content, and our traffic of course. It may well just reappear next time round, probably the week after next the way Google have been recently :)

there is a site in one of our searches belonging to someone we know who we think is probably in the same position as this.

this site used to be PR4 I think, but now shows PR0 but are still so strongly ahead of our (now tb PR3) site in this search that it will be likely many more months before we can challenge them. ..clearly the site's ranking power (ie real PR not toolbar) has not been affected.

whats your traffic like - any change ?

This may not be the source of your PageRank problems, but you do have a classic Google canonicalization problem. Your site is partially indexed under www.computer-realm.net and partially under computer-realm.net. You may have actually made the problem worse by setting up a server code 302 redirect from www.computer-realm.net to computer-realm.net. You need to (a) use a server code 301 redirect for requests for the www. version of your URL and you should also select a Preferred Domain in Google's Webmaster Tools. Once you change the 302 to a 301 and set the Preferred Domain, you should see your rankings return within a week or two. The Toolbar PageRank score may not change until the next update - meaning possibly not for several weeks or more.

Sometime, this PR manner will drive us crazy...

that's why, I'm rather don't care too much about it, just let it flow whatever its like...

I see you have a general post about paid blogging. I think that it bad to mention words like "paid" "sponsored" and so on within your post. Google is watching for this words.

SEOibiza: my traffic is stil de same level, hasnt reduced,,if you are looking at pr that is,my search engine traffic has reduced after my change from blogger to the wordpress platform though and the traffic is now slowly returnin to the initial value before the move to wordpress.

Google is constantly changing their algorithm, they are trying to make
it more difficult to attain a higher page rank.

i set my preferred domain to www.computer-realm.net, i guess this was the problem as i noticed the number of indexed pages dancing around, going from 270 to 120 and back again while it should be somewhere around 140 pages indexed, hopefully things should get better with this change...thanks everyone

I heard that when you getting your first PR, if a gift from google and its up to you to increase your backlink to keep this rank..Am I wrong?
