Wow, it is 6:00 pm and on MTV they just aired a video by a band called "The Strokes"... it shows 2 girls kissing and then one starts licking the other's neck... WTF! Is that what teens watch nowadays? No wonder they are so messed up, I remember when I watched MTV years ago, that kind of videos would be shown at 1:00 a.m. and there was a very strong censorship The idea of having kids one day sure scares me... you try to give them a good education and they see that kind of crap on TV... what's the point?
Yup, very true and very bad. Let me bring up a news that happened in Canada. After Madonna and Britney (I am not sure) kissed on TV, there were two little girls who repeated the show in a school. On top of that, they collected few dollars from boys to do that. Go figure... Gamehouse
I dont have kids and never will but if i had kids i would educate them without MTV, i wouln't home school them or separate from society just because I think they will be better or something, thats why they become cold school shooters because their parents never taught them anything about how society works.
Man.. if that is the worst that is broadcasted on your channels, I'd proberly wonder if I had accidently tuned in on some church channel. MTV here shows nude tits.
Teach them the finer points in life and when they see that kind of thing they will take it for what it is, titillation, no big deal to them, if you go back a generation or two there would be no child out of wed-lock, times change and so must we I guess

No kidding! I love the 80's, but enough already. I love the one where they show you the original laptop, with a screen that was like 4 inches wide and it weighed about 40 pounds. That's too funny. After watching it a few times, I really miss my Mon chi chi and my little buddy
Those remember the 80s TV shows are so addicting. This holiday season they did every year from 1980 to 1999. I couldn't stop watching. I kept watching them and my girlfriend went to sleep. She woke up and I was still watching them. She left me and I'm still watching them. I think it's like an electrical current when some one is getting electrocuted. You have to hit them with a bat or something. A funny story about those huge old laptops. The college in the town I grew up in always has these horrible acutions. A week before the auction you can look at the stuff (during a 1 hour window during the workweek), but you don't actually get to see the stuff during the auction or get a detailed description of the item. This guy I know paid $400 for a laptop. He went over to pick it up and it was one of those old huge laptops. HAHA. It was running Windows 3.1. He carried that huge thing everywhere he went for a while, because he paid so much for it. A lot of people end up bidding a lot of money for old 286s and crap like that because they couldn't make it to the previewing and the description will only say computer and monitor.
MTV has indeed changed....thier not completely a music channel anymore. they got teen soaps(like real dramas) and some programs not suitable for teens like jackass...
my name is Andrea, and I'm addicted to MTV. I am a Real World/Gauntlett/Next/Meet the Barkers/Making the Band groupie...I'm not thrilled about alot of the shows on MTV, but these have my attention when they're on. Anyone else watch these shows?
MTV sucks now.......(M2 sucks also,they dont even play as much music as they used to) Ah well.........
