This upgrate is supposed to better than the previous one which was working fine.

The recent one is so basic and almost useless!

There's a new feature in it that makes it easier to move an entire site to a new domain. For those in the SEO industry, or advanced website owners, this can be a big help.

Keep an eye out for Google Wave, which will be Google's next big product. :D

Basic = Better as far as google is concerned. They are all about being minimalist and they make a lot of money doing it. The best solution to any problem is usually the simplest one. I like the new features of their webmaster tool.

Yes that is the point and is the success story for Google. Unlike other portals, Google only is concerned about producing and offering concise results and exact details and so it does not care about using fancy images and photos.

I think Google must have a reason to make it so basic like that. Perhaps, some cool features will be added soon.

Why is it useless? It is the same like the previous one.

Except for the External Links decrease (probably just temporary glitch) --- new GWT looks great!
